Couples Counselling for Stronger, More Connected Relationships.

Relationships don't break down overnight. Most couples come to us after months, sometimes years of the same arguments going nowhere, the same distance growing, the same attempts to fix things that haven't quite worked.

Couples counselling at Well Matters gives you something different: a structured, evidence-based process built on four decades of research into what actually makes relationships work. Not just a space to talk a framework for real change.

Who this is for

You might be here because:

  • Communication has broken down and conversations keep ending the same way

  • You've grown apart and aren't sure how to find your way back

  • There's been a betrayal or breach of trust and you don't know if recovery is possible

  • You're not in crisis, but you want to build a stronger foundation before problems take hold

  • A major life transition — a new baby, a move, a health diagnosis has put the relationship under pressure

You don't have to be at breaking point to benefit from couples therapy.

Many couples come to us because they want to invest in their relationship, not because it's failing.

We use the Gottman Method, one of the most extensively researched approaches to couples therapy in the world. It gives us a precise framework for understanding what's getting in the way of your relationship, and practical tools for changing it. The process begins with a structured assessment joint and individual sessions plus a relationship questionnaire, that gives us a detailed picture of your relationship's strengths and the areas that need attention.
